Kevin gets killed by the ghosts of his victims.

03 INT HELL 03
Kevin appears in Hell, among fire and blood. Kevin formulates a plan to return to Earth via the body of his Teddy Bear, and continue his killing rampage.

04 EXT JOHN G. DIEFENBAKER SCHOOLGROUNDS
The spirit of Kevin appears on Earth and seeks out the body of his Teddy Bear around the grounds of his high school.

05 EXT SCHOOL FRONT, NEWS REPORT
A reporter updates viewers about the killings at the school. Police are baffled. The school board has ordered an early shutdown of John G. Diefenbaker High School, so students will get an early summer vacation.

06 EXT SCHOOL FRONT, TREE
A shot of the teddy bear in the tree. Eugene has arrived. He growls.

08 EXT SIR JOHN A. MACDONALD JUNIOR HIGH
Virgil Pembury, a nerdy geek, is walking home from school. He confronts two of his classmates, who start bullying him. They tease him and steal his books. He runs away. They pursue.

09 EXT NEIGHBOURHOOD STREET
The bullies chase Virgil across a busy road, and are nearly hit by a car. This allows Virgil to get further ahead.

10 EXT MAC'S STORE
Virgil hides out behind a Mac's store. The bullies can't find him, so they leave.

11 EXT NEIGHBOURHOOD FENCE
Virgil hurries home, because he is late. A little poodle barks at him behind a fence. He shudders in fear.

12 EXT ALLEYWAY, THE ATTACK
Virgil hurries down an alley. The bullies jump out from behind a van and ambush him. They beat the heck out of him, break his glasses, and tear up his books. The bullies run away, leaving him there.

13 EXT ALLEYWAY, THE AFTERMATH
Virgil picks himself and his belongings up. He limps over to a garbage dumpster to toss his torn book away. He sees a Teddy Bear inside the dumpster and retrieves it. He names the bear Eugene and brings it home. Kevin's Teddy Bear has found an owner!

14 EXT VIRGIL'S HOUSE
Virgil limps up to the front door of his house, holding the Bear.

15 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM
Virgil's Father yells at Virgil for being late for dinner. Virgil says his cuts and bruises are from falling down. Virgil's Mother stops the Father from beating Virgil up, and tells him to go to bed.

16 INT VIRGIL'S BEDROOM
Virgil enters his bedroom with his new found Teddy Bear.

17 INT VIRGIL'S BEDROOM
Virgil reads his new Teddy Bear a bedtime story. His Father comes in and tells him to turn out his lights.

18 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE
A few hours later, all of Virgil's family is fast asleep. (Except for Virgil's sister, who always stays up late to talk on the phone!)

19 INT VIRGIL'S BEDROOM
The Teddy Bear comes to life and attacks Virgil in his bed. Virgil is possessed by the Teddy Bear, and gains the desire to carry on Kevin's mission of killing.

21 EXT TENNIS COURT
Shannon and Connie are playing tennis at a court near the school. Virgil appears and asks them if he can play, but they refuse. Shannon knocks the ball over the fence and Connie goes to fetch it. Alone, Shannon is confronted by Virgil, now wearing a Skeleton Mask.

22 EXT STREET NEAR TENNIS COURT
Connie fetched the tennis ball, making sure to look both ways before crossing the street.

23 EXT TENNIS COURT
Virgil attacks Shannon with a tennis racquet and crushes her head with it. She is his first victim.

24 EXT TENNIS COURT
Connie finds Shannon's bloody corpse and is attacked by Virgil. He smothers her with a tennis ball.

25 EXT LIBRARY, BEHIND
Virgil stands in Richard's way so he cannot get past. He then stabs Richard in the leg and smashes a rock over his head.

26 EXT LIBRARY, MAIN ENTRANCE
Virgil enters the library, no longer wearing his Skeleton Mask.

27 INT LIBRARY, CHILDREN'S SECTION
Virgil creates a disturbance in the children's section of the library. The librarian throws Virgil out of the library when he reads aloud from a baby book in the children's section of the library.

28 EXT FIELD OUTSIDE LIBRARY
The librarian locks up at closing time. She walks home. Virgil jumps out from an alcove and attacks her. She knocks him down with her book bag and escapes. Virgil teleports and appears behind the librarian. He breaks her neck with his huge hands.

29 EXT 7-11 STORE/STREET/PLAYGROUND
A kid enters a playground, drinking a slurpee he got from 7-11. He sees Virgil there, crying, and wonders if he's alright. Virgil quickly jumps up and slashes a knife across the kid's throat. He takes the slurpee straw and drinks blood from the kid's throat.

30 EXT SIDEWALK
A kid is strolling down the sidewalk, listening to a walkman. Virgil pops up from behind a fence and slaps the kid down to the ground. Virgil leaps off the fence with hedge clippers, stabbing them into the kid's stomach. Virgil conceals the body and steals the kid's walkman.

31 EXT JOGGING ENCOUNTER
Virgil stops a jogger girl and tries strangling her. She jabs her elbow into his nuts and runs away. Virgil is in too much pain to catch her. He is certain that Kevin will be mad at him for letting her escape.

32 EXT WEIRD GRAVEYARD CHASE
Virgil stalks a girl, who has come to visit her relative's grave. Weird and creepy things happen.

33 INT VIRGIL'S BATHROOM
Virgil wakes up after the graveyard dream. His mother tells him to come out for dinner, but he refuses. He faces the dilemma of whether he killed those people of his free will, or if the Teddy Bear forced him to do it. There is a hint that an evil force may be behind the Teddy Bear. Virgil tries committing suicide, but the evil force won't allow him to die. He has a purpose to serve.

34 INT HALLWAY/VIRGIL'S BEDROOM
Virgil's sister overhears Virgil talking with the Teddy Bear in his bedroom. Virgil is questioning the Bear's orders to kill. The Bear tells Virgil to do exactly as it says. The sister teases Virgil. He growls at her.

35 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, SISTER'S BEDROOM
Virgil's sister talks on the phone to one of her friends about the school killings. Virgil comes in and bashes her head in with a guitar. Virgil puts her bloody body to bed.

36 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, UPSTAIRS HALLWAY
Virgil runs into his mother in the hallway. He covers up the fact that he just killed his sister. His nagging mother tells him to go clean his room before his father gets home.

37 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM
Virgil's brother is playing videogames. Virgil asks if he can play, and his brother refuses. Virgil leaves, sulking.

38 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, KITCHEN
Virgil finds his pet cat Fluffy in the kitchen. He picks her up and puts her inside the oven, to bake.

39 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM
Virgil's brother is still playing videogames. Virgil bashes him over the head with a baseball bat. He drags his brother's body down to the basement.

40 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM
Virgil comes up from the basement and runs into his mother. She is mad because he hasn't cleaned his room yet. Virgil says his brother went out to play baseball. Virgil's mother smells something cooking in the kitchen.

41 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, KITCHEN
The mother opens the oven and sees the cooked cat. Virgil stabs her in the back with a fondue fork and drags her down to the basement.

42 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, VARIOUS
Virgil's Father comes home from work. Virgil is hiding somewhere...

43 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, KITCHEN
The Father finds a note from his wife, saying she's gone to a movie, and dinner is in the oven. (Really written by Virgil.) He pulls the cooked cat out of the oven and eats it. He gets a can of beer out of the fridge.

44 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM
The Father sits down on the sofa with beer to watch WWF wrestling. We get the impression that he is being watched. He goes upstairs.

45 INT VIRGIL'S BATHROOM
The Father takes a leak at the toilet before starting to shave. Virgil appears with a machete. His Father verbally insults him. Virgil slits his Father's throat with the machete and drags him down to the basement.

46 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, BASEMENT
Virgil drops his Father's corpse onto a couch in the basement and props it up into a sitting position. He fixes an empty beer can into the corpse's hand.

47 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM
Virgil rejoices in the fact that him and his Teddy Bear have the whole house to themselves.

48 INT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM
Virgil is sleeping on the floor in front of the TV set, haunted by a nightmare about killing his whole family. The TV station signs on for the morning.

49 EXT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, FRONT DOOR
Virgil comes outside, pushing his Teddy Bear in a stroller. He is questioned by his nosy neighbour to the whereabouts of his parents. He makes up an unbelievable story, making the neighbour very suspicious.

50 EXT SIDEWALK OUTSIDE NEIGHBOUR'S HOUSE 50

Virgil goes for a walk with his Teddy Bear. The nosy neighbour watches him leave.

51 EXT VIRGIL'S HOUSE 51

The nosy neighbour sneaks into Virgil's house through the basement window. We get the impression that the neighbour is being watched.

52 INT VIRGIL'S BASEMENT
The neighbour finds the bodies of Virgil's entire family in the basement. Virgil pops up, wearing his Skeleton Mask, and bashes the neighbour's head in with a hammer. Another body for the basement collection.

53 INT GLENN'S HOUSE
Glenn is enjoying the early summer vacation at his house. His mother asks him to take out the garbage. Glenn's dog seems nervous.

54 EXT GLENN'S HOUSE/ALLEY
Glenn brings the garbage into the back alley. He meets up with Virgil, who attacks him with a meat cleave. Glenn's dog is killed as well.

55 INT RADIO STATION, NEWSROOM
A reporter is typing up the latest news about the killings in the neighbourhood.

56 INT RADIO STATION, D.J. BOOTH
A D.J. is cuing music in a small, secluded booth of the radio station. Virgil appears and strangles the D.J. with magnetic tape.

57 INT RADIO STATION, REAR EXIT
The station manager of the radio station is going on his lunch break. Virgil attacks him and throws him to the ground. Then he slashes the manager's throat with a sharp knife.

58 EXT NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSES
The paperboy is making his rounds to all of the houses in the neighbourhood.

59 INT VIRGIL'S LIVING ROOM
Virgil and his Teddy Bear are watching Mr. Rogers' Neighbourhood on TV.

60 EXT VIRGIL'S HOUSE, FRONT DOOR
The paperboy arrives at the front door of Virgil's house.

61 INT VIRGIL'S LIVING ROOM
Virgil and his Teddy Bear are still watching TV when the paperboy arrives at the door.

62 EXT VIRGIL'S FRONT DOOR
Virgil answers the door and invites him inside.

63 INT VIRGIL'S FRONT DOOR
The paperboy has come to collect. Virgil goes to the kitchen to get money. The paperboy sees the Teddy Bear in front of the TV and laughs.

64 INT VIRGIL'S KITCHEN
Virgil gets a mallet out of the cutlery drawer and returns to the paperboy.

65 INT VIRGIL'S FRONT DOOR
Virgil hits the mallet over the paperboy's head and drags him down to the basement.

66 INT VIRGIL'S BASEMENT
Virgil chains the paperboy up to a pole in the basement. He is only unconscious.

67 INT VIRGIL'S LIVING ROOM
Virgil tells his Teddy Bear excitedly how he captured the paperboy. Virgil intends on torturing him before killing him.

68 EXT PLAYGROUND, ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
A little kid is going down a slide. Virgil pops up and stabs the kid in the stomach.

69 EXT WOODED AREA, NEARBY PARK
A kid is walking through the woods. Virgil lashes the kid with a chain and then chops him up with a chainsaw.

70 INT VIRGIL'S BASEMENT
The paperboy wakes up. Virgil comes down and tells him that there is no escape. The paperboy tries reasoning with Virgil, but it is impossible. Virgil forces the paperboy to say the alphabet. Then he makes the paperboy honour the Teddy Bear. Virgil smears blood from his brother's corpse on the paperboy's face.

71 INT PARTY GUY'S HOUSE
Gus is enjoying the early summer vacation. He is invited to a party at a friend's house. Unfortunately, he won't be able to attend, because Virgil kill him. He strangles him with the telephone, stabs him with a knife, and chops him with a machete.

72 EXT ALLEY DEJA-VU
Virgil finds himself walking down the same alley where he first found Eugene. It is as though Virgil is his old nerdy self again. But this time, there are no bullies, or Teddy Bear in the garbage can. Confused, he runs into the little Jimmy that lives down the lane. Virgil demands to know where Eugene is hiding, but Jimmy doesn't know. Suddenly, Virgil lashes out at Jimmy and kills him. The evil was only hiding.

73 INT VIRGIL'S BEDROOM
Virgil sits up in bed. Eugene, his Teddy Bear, is there beside him. All the events in the previous scene had been a dream.
